West of Playa De Las Americas and fast becoming one of the most popular destinations in Tenerife and indeed in Europe lies Costa Adeje a beautiful coastal town set against the striking backdrop of Mount Teide and looking out on the majestic Atlantic Ocean.
Most of the hotels in Costa Adeje have been built in the past twenty years so they tend to be more luxurious then some of the older hotels in other parts of Tenerife. One of the best hotels in Costa Adeje has to be the Bahia Principe Costa Adeje resort. It is a sea front hotel that is relatively close to the Los Gigantes Cliffs. The hotel has its own selfcontained shopping and leisure centre and is situated close enough to the towns night life to provide an exciting evening out but far enough away to provide peace and quiet. The most attractive characteristic of the Bahia Principe Hotel is the sparkling aquablue pool from which once can get a fantastic view of the Sea. The resorts may cost a little more in Costa Adeje the extra expense is well worth it!
Costa Adeje as well with all of Tenerife contains no shortage of things to do. Marine activities are defiantly the main pastime around the area with wale watching wind surfing and scubadiving!
As well as marine activities Costa Adeje is home to a lot of historic architecture that is always worth a visit and will leave you with a sense of history of Tenerife. If golf is your thing there is always Golf Costa Adeje which is considered to be one of the best golf courses in Tenerife.
Costa Adeje is home to a mixture of golden and black volcanic beaches the most well known of which is probably the Fantilde;abe beach. The beaches in Costa Adeje are mostly in sheltered bays and have life guards making the beaches a good safe family fun day out.
